Safe365's digital platform aims to serve as a comprehensive digital health and safety consultant for businesses across industries, helping them assess and improve their health, safety, and wellbeing strategies.

The staggering statistics of worker-related deaths and workplace incidents underline the pressing need for effective health and safety measures. Directors, owners and managers often lack the knowledge and resources to be health and safety compliant, putting their staff and business at risk. To help solve this problem, we worked with Safe365 to create their digital health and safety consultant.

01

To understand the critical needs in health and safety across various industries, in-depth research and stakeholder interviews were carried out.

Our objective was to grasp the existing procedures and roles surrounding health and safety within organisations, and how they align with current legislative requirements. We also aimed to identify the inherent challenges faced in their existing systems.

02

A pain point we identified in our research was a lack of oversight in how an organisations were performing with their health and safety competency, and what areas they needed to improve.

With our insights we designed the Safe365 starburst, a visual representation of how a organisation health and safety competency. The inner ring visualises ten areas tailored to health and safety legislation, from director knowledge through to reporting, engagement, and culture. While the outer ring visualises specific competencies within each area of legislation.

03

A simple health and safety assessment walked users through each area of health and safety legislation. After the assessment was complete, they were provided with their health and safety index, the score at the heart of the starburst.

With their health and safety index, businesses could quickly assess, improve and monitor their organisations’ health, safety and wellbeing capability. Their starburst identified the specific areas they were lacking, and provided them the knowledge processes needed to improve.
